Does your company currently use BYOD?

Organisations have previously given employees the freedom to use their mobile devices in the work place, but what if you could use your own laptop or tablet at work rather than using your work PC. Studies have shown that this method actually improves work productivity and efficiency, so why are you not using it yet?

Using your personal laptop or tablet for work activities and personal activities increases productivity as all the files related to work and home will be stored on one device so you will not have to worry about separating home and work life, which cuts out the middle man!

Large establishments, including Gatwick Airport, have moved their files to the Cloud and have introduced the BYOD scheme so why can your small organisation not use it also? By moving to the Cloud, Gatwick Airport was able to reduce their costs significantly as they took out 200 of their servers. The BYOD idea was introduced to the airport as they found many customers passing through the airport were using smartphones or tablets for their boarding passes and to ask questions so Gatwick decided to introduce it to its employees also.
