How Secure is Your Current Phone System?

Did you know your phone system may be as easy to hack as PCs?

Many people go to all lengths to make sure their LANS and PCs are secure and protected from potential threats, meaning they tend to leave their phone systems unprotected making them more easily accessible for hackers. In the past, hackers have been able to gain access to corporate phone and/ or voicemail systems meaning that when your next bill comes in, you may be in for a surprise!

In order to avoid these security threats, Southbank IT use a hosted VoIP Cortex IP PBX system as the system is more secure for our business. As the system is hosted in a secure datacentre, all access and permissions are locked down with access and change requests managed by authorised technical staff.

As well as being secure, the VoIP Cortex IP PBX enhances flexible working as there are numerous features available such as unified messaging, flexible and remote access, call logging and recording and call handling. The system is inexpensive and allows the user access to low cost VoIP calling.

What do you think? Is it worth moving your current telephone system to VoIP Cortex?
